A History of Medical Construction Expertise: Helping Those That Help Others

At Dunlap, we have worked on dozens of hospital and medical office builds spanning over 30 years of specialized experience.

Our Story

Dunlap Construction has been serving the construction needs of Western NC since 1979, when it was founded by Dennis Dunlap. Initially, we focused primarily on residential projects only. Over time, we grew into other sectors. Years of connecting with businesses and organizations through commercial construction has given us the opportunity to give back to the community, a true passion of ours. Since 1983 we have been able to support the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital and the Henderson County School’s High School Athletic Program. In addition, some of the other organizations we are proud to sponsor are:

Medical Construction Projects

At Dunlap, we are proud to serve the needs of the medical community. We have 30 years of specialized experience with various medical construction projects. As a result, we developed a close working relationship with Pardee Memorial Hospital and associated facilities.

Our projects with Pardee have included large renovations of their Psychiatric Emergency Department and Cardio-Pulmonary Rehabilitation & Diabetes Education Center. However, it’s important to us that we provide quality, timely service – regardless of project size. We have installed handrails, repaired drywall, caulked windows, and replaced flag poles. In total, we have worked with Pardee on over 70 successful projects. They range in scope from general construction to installing lead lining in an x-ray room. Dunlap strives to be a true partner to our medical community. We value their contributions, and it is an honor to be their trusted choice.
