Recently, we had the privilege of bringing that spirit to life with a full renovation of Safelight’s Dandelion Café at 127 Fifth Avenue West. This wasn’t just another build. It was a chance to work alongside a community-minded organization that serves families and children affected by trauma, and to help create a space that supports their mission.
What Is The Dandelion Café?
The Dandelion Café is more than just a place to eat. It’s part of Safelight Family Services’ effort to build connection and community for families in need. With this remodel, we were able to help elevate the experience for both staff and visitors by completely transforming the space from the ground up.
A Remodel Project That Makes A Difference
Our team tackled every detail of the renovation with care and precision. We installed brand new ceilings, floors, and walls, giving the café a fresh and welcoming feel. A new sprinkler system was added to improve safety, and the restrooms were fully renovated to provide clean, functional facilities for guests. Creating a new prep area and storage space was a priority so the café team could work more efficiently and comfortably every day.
Of course, a café isn’t a café without the right tools for the job. We installed new kitchen equipment and updated countertops and trim throughout the entire space. Every choice was made with function, durability, and design in mind so that the Dandelion Café could continue serving its community with pride.
