Throughout our history, Dunlap Construction has received steady repeat business and referrals from clients who know our services do not end when construction is complete – the end of a project is not the end of our relationship.
We continue to serve our project owners in many ways to make sure that every aspect of the project meets their full expectations. Our post-construction offerings serve as the bridge to our next project.
The Post-Construction Process
During the post-construction phase, we provide services for the following:
Construction Project Closeout
We develop a detailed schedule of project closeout activities, including punch lists, equipment testing, start-up procedures, and occupancy. Documents included in project closeout are typically a complete index of subcontractors and vendors used during the project and their contact information, accurate operation and maintenance manuals (O&M’s), keys, preventive maintenance, training manuals, and as-built drawings.
Onsite Training
To make sure all building systems continue to operate properly with minimum downtime or stress, we coordinate training as needed for all staff members and conduct equipment demonstrations.
Construction Warranty Follow Up
Dunlap Construction issues a one-year warranty on all of our projects. At any point during the warranty period, our customers may simply contact us with any concern they may have so we can remedy the problem. Even after this one year warranty period ends, our door is always open should an issue arise.
Continued Communication & Support
We like to follow up with our customers after we’ve turned over a project for occupancy. Questions are always welcomed during or after construction is complete. We are here to help by answering anything that comes up for our customers.
